OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Our management team brings together the complementary expertise in all the key functions of a company of our skilled managers. Led by its two co-founders, the team drives all aspects of each deal including sourcing, review, diligence, structure, closing, integration and active growth management.

PATRICK DUSSAULT
Co-chairman and CEO

Patrick is the CEO, leads NAMAKOR holdings, and is a member of the investment committee. He has completed over CAD $300 million in transactions as a private investor. An entrepreneur at heart, he has owned and managed franchises in the F&B business, participated in the acquisition of various SMEs and, as an owner, actively contributed to their growth globally. In addition to owning and managing businesses, Patrick has extensive banking experience from BMO and National Bank of Canada, where he has financed over CAD $250MM of lower to middle market transactions.

In addition to his leading role at NAMAKOR Holdings, Patrick is an active YPO board member (Young Presidents’ Organization) in both Canada and the United States and shares his skills, experience and extensive network of contacts with the top management of North American businesses.

An administration graduate from UQAM, Patrick Dussault also has a graduate diploma in financial analysis and has received training at McDonald’s University, the fast-food restaurant giant. Committed to the well-being of the community, Patrick is currently a member of the board of the Tampa zoo in Florida.

STÉPHANE HUOT
President and COO

Stéphane is the President and COO of NAMAKOR Holdings, leads all new investment opportunities, and is a member of the investment committee. Working with Patrick Dussault for close to 20 years, Stéphane has completed over CAD $270 million in transactions. As a former member of the Control Management Team at Bombardier Transport and Vice-President of Johnvince Foods, Stéphane has acquired deep operational experience and expertise. He currently is on the boards of Termaco, e2ip, Duchesne and GelPac, which have experienced strong consistent growth under his leadership. Stéphane’s operational experience ensures that the businesses reach their full potential to unlock shareholder value. Stéphane enjoys a stellar track record in the building of strong teams and in the enhancement of the skills and synergy of his teams to optimize productivity and performance.

Stéphane holds a diploma in business administration from UQAM. Throughout the years, he has gained solid experience in management, finance and operational control.

VIVEK SETH
Co-chairman

Vick is the Co-Chairman and is a member of the investment committee. Vick has more than 30 years of corporate finance and real estate experience and has completed transactions in excess of $110 billion (USD). He is the founder and Managing Partner of Sunsar Capital Management. Most recently, Vick served as the Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Raymond James and prior to that was the Managing Director and Head of the Real Estate Investment Banking Group after founding the group in August 2001.

Throughout his career, Vick has been instrumental in the formation and growth of several high-quality, private and public companies, primarily in the real estate arena, and has been involved in over 30 as lead banker or advisor since 1992. Vick remains passionate about partnering with high-quality, growth-oriented executives/sponsors, owners, and operators to create the next generation of leading companies. He currently serves as a board member/advisor on several emerging growth companies including E-Line Media and Engineer.AI.

Vick received a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

The M&A specialists of our investment team have a keen understanding of the strategic issues linked to the optimization of ROI performance as well as a comprehensive track record in the development of all relevant financial models and the meticulous conduct of the due diligence process.

ABHINAV CAPOOR
Principal

Abhi is a Principal at NAMAKOR Holdings, where he is responsible for sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, working closely with existing portfolio companies, and managing the investment team. He is closely involved with the leadership on NAMAKOR’s strategic initiatives and growth plans. He is also a founding associate at Sunsar Capital Management ($1.0B+ in Real Estate assets) and a former Associate Consultant at Wipro Consulting.

Over the course of his career, he has conducted transactions in excess of $1.5B in value and led the investments from the investment committees thru closing.

Abhi holds a B.B.A from Symbiosis International University and M.S from Brown University

Maxime Aubin
Senior Associate

Maxime Aubin is an accomplished professional in the finance and accounting fields. He currently serves as a Senior Associate at NAMAKOR Holdings, where he brings a wealth of experience to the role. He has previously worked in the audit practice at Deloitte and as a Manager in the deal advisory practice at KPMG. At KPMG, Maxime led numerous financial due diligence projects, gaining extensive experience in evaluating and analyzing potential investments.

Maxime has participated in projects across various sectors, which enabled him to develop a well-rounded set of skills and knowledge that he applies to his current role. He has a deep understanding of the unique financial and operational challenges faced by companies in different industries, which allows him to provide valuable insights and strategic advice to stakeholders. His quick understanding of strategic issues, combined with his strong analytical sense and great rigor, makes him a valuable partner in accurately assessing the quality of earnings of companies involved in the due diligence process.

Maxime holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and also holds CPA and CFA designations.

ERICK MEZA
Senior Associate

Erick is a Senior Associate at NAMAKOR Holdings, where he is responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, due diligence, and managing portfolio companies. He has previously worked for KKR as an Associate on the real estate acquisitions team where he was responsible for underwriting and due diligence of commercial real estate assets. Prior to that, Erick was an Investment Banking Analyst with Morgan Stanley in their New York real estate group where he gained experience advising REITs on M&A and strategic alternatives.

Our operations team is comprised of seasoned operations focused leaders with deep industry experience and expertise. Namakor leverages their experience to integrate, manage and unlock shareholder value in its investments.

LUC ST-GEORGES
Sr. Vice President Operations

Luc is a Senior Vice President and leads the day-to-day oversight of portfolio companies and integration plans for new investments. Luc is a result-oriented senior executive with 32 years of experience in high-tech companies, particularly in the fields of Operations, Business Development, and all the activities related to company strategic plans and actions. He is known for his visionary leadership, the ability to create strong and clear Business Strategic (BS) plans, develop state-of-the-art strategies to achieve the BS plan objectives, and optimize KPIs like profitability, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery while strengthening client relations.

He was involved in more than twenty M&A transactions and the successful integrations of those companies aligned with the growth plan for creating value. He was also involved, as a Board Member and Chairman of the Board, with many private mid-market companies in Québec having goals to expand at the international level. Mr. St-Georges held previous positions as Executive Vice-President Operations and Business Development, Chief Operating Officer at Miranda / Belden, and was COO of multiple companies. He was also a partner at Ernst & Young in the manufacturing practice with some strategic customers in Canada.

He holds an Engineering degree from Polytechnic of Montréal, an executive MBA from Queen’s University, and is a member of the ‘Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec’.

LUC GERMAIN DUGAS
Vice President Operations

Luc is a Vice President and helps manage portfolio companies and integration plans for new investments. Luc has led and coached numerous manufacturing operation teams to success in a broad array of business sectors within the last 40 years. With operational improvement and efficiency being at the core of his approach and passion, he is highly appreciated for his ability to foster enthusiasm and enable teams toward achieving beyond expectations.

As an extensively engaged senior leader, he was involved with numerous international operations (Australia, Asia, Europe, South America, Mexico, United States, Canada) enabling significant value creation/delivery through teams in place. Prior to NAMAKOR, Luc was a Senior Vice President of Operations at Dyno Nobel, Vice President at General Dynamics, Orica, and Wire Rope Industries. He was also a Manufacturing Consulting Manager with Ernst & Young with clients in Canada and the United Kingdom.

He holds a Mechanical Engineering D.E.C., a Certificate in Business Management from Montreal University, and has completed Senior Executive programs from both Queen’s University and Columbia Business School. Luc is also a certified member of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D).

AUDREY CHINIARA
Vice President Business Development

Audrey has been building her network for the last 15 years throughout her career in politics. As head of the office to the Health Minister in Quebec, she was in contact with high-caliber investors and got to understand the governmental structure inside and out. She is in charge of significant sponsorship programs, public subsidies, and non-profit fundraising for major international events and corporations in North America. Partners trust her and love to collaborate with her.

She raised millions of dollars for Hospital foundations and world-renowned festivals. With her entrepreneurial skills, her mission is to close sharp deals for all parties. Always aware of newly available funds, she makes sure every possible opportunity for grants and financing is targeted and secured. Managing activation budgets that often reach hundreds of thousands of dollars, she knows how to optimize each investment. She will constantly seek to maintain exceptional communication. She has strong work ethics and creativeness; she is known as a problem solver.

She holds a Law degree from Ottawa University and a Certificate in Exercising leadership from Harvard Business School/

Each member of our portfolio leadership team is a recognized results-oriented leader with a full commitment to the achievement of bold strategic plans through a deep-rooted focus on process optimization and manpower mobilization to outsmart any competition.

CHRISTIAN DAUPHINAIS
President and general manager, Duchesne Inc.

An executive in marketing, sales and operations, he has over 30 years of experience in the retail and distribution industry. Christian is a results-oriented and goal-oriented manager. He leads successful teams by emphasizing teamwork, a participatory approach and employee empowerment.

With great communication and negotiation skills and an excellent business sense, he managed the commercial division of the Reno-Depot banner for several years.  During these years, he was able to optimize business opportunities, establish the banner’s commercial strategy while maintaining a close relationship with its business partners.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Duchesne, his priorities will remain to ensure customer satisfaction by remaining on the lookout for their needs in addition to increasing the operational efficiency of the organization as well as the development of human resources in order to take the company to new heights.

 

ERIC SAINT-JACQUES
President and general manager, E2iP Technologies

A seasoned business leader with a proven track record, Eric’s comprehensive Sales and International business development career covered the telecommunications (Inmarsat, Teleglobe), e-commerce (Mediagrif) and enterprise application (Infor) fields. He further developed his expertise by managing engineering groups (software and hardware) as well as directing manufacturing and supply chain operations in the electronic and digital media fields. As general manager of TouchTunes, Eric was a key member of the team that managed its turn-around and its high value sale to Soros and Searchlight Capital Partners.

Namakor Holdings will benefit from his expertise in the areas of businesses with accelerated growth and those operating in multicultural markets.

Eric’s college education in Sciences was rounded up with studies in psychology at Mc Gill University and Business Administration at Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM).

MIRO YAGHI
President and general manager, Termaco Ltd

Miro Yaghi is a seasoned, experienced leader holding a Masters degree in industrial Engineering (M. Eng), a Masters in business administration (MBA) and a certified accountant CPA. Throughout his career he built up an impressive track record. As such he has occupied strategic positions and leading roles in companies of international scope active in various industries, notably, aerospace, railways, banking, and in the manufacturing and distribution sectors.

He is recognized by his peers as being results oriented and a strategic leader for business development and for optimizing business execution. Miro will invest his skills, energy and leadership in order to lead and accelerate the growth of Termaco.

 

DANY PARADIS
President & ceo, clôtures frontenac

Dany Paradis enjoys more than 30 years of management experience in the manufacturing, distribution, and services fields where he acquired valuable skills in sales, customer service, marketing, and operations with high-profile companies: Nuera Air, Yellow Pages Limited, Fibrek Inc., Domtar Inc., and ReebokCCM/Adidas.

He is recognized for his proven ability to develop winning strategic plans as well as marshaling the required resources and motivating his teams to surpass the set targets.

Dany holds a Bachelor of Actuarial sciences degree from Laval University and has completed the Advanced Leadership Program of McGill University. He holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and has served on the Board of several foundations, associations, and public companies.
